Opposite the Palais Carignano
This restaurant which has a long history looks out on to the Piazza Carignano. Founded in 1757, it became famous during the period of the Risorgimento since it was frequented by many political figures. Situated opposite what was then the Sabaudo Parliament, Cavour was one of its most loyal customers. Stuccos, mirrors and frescos adorn the place. The cooking is classical and of the region, with an excellent choice of wines.
