Ca'd'Oro

This palace, which dates back to 1412, takes its name from the gilded decorations that once adorned the façade of the building. No trace remains but there is still much to admire in the art collections of Giogio Franchetti, not least some stunning works by Titian, Carpaccio and a fine array of Flemish tapestries.
