Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica - Palazzo Barberini

This luxurious 12th-century palace was designed by the architect Carlo Maderno as a country residence for the Barberini family. Construction of it was completed by Bernini and Borromini. The many, sumptuously-decorated rooms of this property are home to the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica collection, which comprises painting from the 16th and 18th centuries, as well as important works by Filippo Lippi, Greco and Caravage.
