A neo-classical jewel for temporary exhibits and Cimac
This 18th-century palace was rebuilt by Giuseppe Piermarini for the Austrian Hapsburgs (1771-1778)on what used to be Galeazzo Maria Sforza's ducal seat. The magnificent Sala Delle Cariatidi is a relic from the neo-classical period. Nowadays it houses the Civico Museo di Arte Contemporanea (Cimac), which also includes the Jucker collection.
