The Royal Palace
Built on top of the remains of the former Alcazar in 1734, the Palaccio Real constitutes one of the most important monuments in all Madrid. Between the walls of this structure is a number of different museums, including ones dedicated to tapestry and painting, plus an impressive Stradivarius collection, not forgetting the Real Farmacia, the Armería Real, and the Sabatini gardens.
