Museo Erótico

Sexuality and eroticism are topics of continuous general interest, and the Erotic Museum of Madrid seeks to illustrate both concepts through several works of art, from Prehistoric times to the current day. Several disciplines share the spaces of the museum. Anthropology, history, art and literature come together in a collection that also seeks to get visitors close to other cultures, such as the Eastern one, for example. The human body serves as thread for the chosen pieces, offering a historical stroll along its representation as object of desire and seduction. Among the objects displayed, you'll see engravings, drawings and other graphic material from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, as well as reproductions and original pieces from previous times.
