Islamic art and craftsmanship
Established on the first floor of the south wing of the Pergame museum is a display of Islamic art from the areas extending from Spain to India. The museum re-traces the developments witnessed from the 8th to 19th centuries in Iran and Egypt above all, encompassing architectural monuments, lighting, rugs, wood panelling and ceramics.
