An artist's house as well as a museum
The Georg-Kolbe-Museum used to be the studio and house of the sculptor Georg Kolbe(1877 ' 1947). It was built between 1928-1929 in the Bauhaus style. It has been a museum since 1950. There are works of Kolbe, but also Barlach, Blumenthal, de Fiori et de Marcks, etc. Exhibitions are changed every three months. The studio also includes a café, and you can visit the museum shop by surfing on the museum website.
