Full of art and history
Margarita of Austria, Phillip III's wife, founded this convent built in the early 17th century by Juan Gómez de Mora. This is one of the richest artistic complexes of the city, where you will find portraits of the court in the time of the Austrias. The room that displays around 700 relics in glass cabinets from the 17th century stands out, as well as the impressive church. The façade, designed by Gómez de Mora, is considered as the starting point for the religious architecture of the city during the Austrias period.
