This is one of the most representative buildings of the Plaza Mayor. It stands out for the decoration of its façade, based on allegorical frescos that were restored in modern times. It was refurbished the 1670's by architect and painter José Jiménez Donoso, who is also the author of part of the building's interior decoration, together with Claudio Colello.
