The Temple Merchants
The architect of this church attempted to combine the principles of classic renaissance with Flemish baroque decorations, such as the candle holders. The windows date back to 1853-1870 and are the work of Richard Berns. In 1857, a statue of Van Aerendonck replaced the previous statue, with Jospeh Greefs carving a memorial to Saint Barbe in 1860.
