The finishing touch of a waterfall
The Viktoriapark stretches over the small hill from which the Kreuzberg takes its name, and, since 1871, has been home to Schinkel's Kriegsdenkmal (a national monument to the wars of liberation), which commemorates the Prussian victories over Napoleon. The park is to be found at the very top of the hill, affording a wonderful panoramic view and backed by the quiet trickle of a waterfall.
