A castle and gardens
The Bellevue Castle is currently the official residence of the President of the Republic. It was built in 1785 by Philipp Daniel Boumann for Augustus Ferdinand, younger brother of Friedrich II. The neo-classical style palace is surrounded by a park that was designed by the Shropshire Horticultural Society of Great Britain.
