The Berlin dome
The Evangelic basilica in Berlin was built between 1893 and 1905 by Julius Raschdorff in a rather heavy neoclassical style. It was badly damaged during the war but has been restored since 1973 with the financial support of the Church. Today it is used a place of worship and a concert hall. You can visit the baptistery, the imperial staircase and parts of the crypt which hold the sarcophagi of Queen Sophie-Charmotte and Frédéric the First.
