The official offices of Milan
The palace, which dates back to the 15th century, was bought in the 18th century by the Isimbardi family. Over the centuries, this has been the residence of a number of noble families, all of whom have left their mark on its architectural evolution. In 1935, it was bought back by the local authorities and placed in the hands of the architect Giovanni Muzio, who added a new, more functionally designed building onto the former palace. Amongst the many works of art kept in the palace, you'll find Tiepolo's 'Il trionfo del Doge Morosini'. The tourist office organises guided tours.
