A transparent market
The San Miguel market is one of the most emblematic of the city, mainly thanks to its iron and crystal structure. Opened in 1916, its project was made by Alfonso Dubé y Díez, and it is situated on the place where the Church of San Miguel de Octoes previously stood. This temple was damaged in 1790 by a fire that also affected the nearby Plaza Mayor.
